General booking information

The tennis courts are open for booking on Playtomic between 08:00 – 21:00 each day.

Please note – for bookings before 15 September please call the club on 01423 586300.

VIEW AVAILABLE COURTS

• Court surfaces: Courts 1-3 are artificial grass and Courts 4-6 are tarmac, all are floodlit
• Floodlight tokens: available at £3 per 30-minute token or £30 for 12. They can be purchased in the pavilion
• Advance booking: members can book courts up to 28 days in advance, non-members up to 7 days in advance. Members – please be considerate to other players and cancel unneeded bookings as soon as possible
• Court fee: there is no court fee for members; for non-members the cost is £10 per hour for Courts 4-6 and £12 per hour for Courts 1-3
• Cancellations: there are no refunds for cancellations.

We trust that everyone will act kindly and respectfully towards others, but the Club reserves the right to suspend or ban from the premises anyone who behaves in an unacceptable manner. General booking information 

The padel courts are open for booking between 08:00 – 21:00 weekdays and 08:00 – 19:00 at weekends.

VIEW AVAILABLE COURTS

• Booking system: book through the Playtomic system
• Weather protection: ‘Swiss’ (Court 7), is fully enclosed, and ‘Trini’ (Court 8), has a translucent canopy
• Floodlights: the cost is included in the booking fee. They can be turned with the switch at the side of the court – please switch off after use!
• Advance booking: members can book courts up to 28 days in advance, non-members up to 7 days in advance
• Court fee per hour:
  • Off peak: members £16, non-members £20
  • Peak (Monday to Friday, 5pm till 9pm): members £16, non-members £28
  • Guests playing with members: £1 per person per hour off peak, £3 per person per hour peak
• Equipment: racquets and balls will be available for rental if required, at very reasonable rates
• Cancellations: full refund for cancellations more than 24 hours in advance

The Playtomic booking system

Founded in 2017, Playtomic now handles court bookings for more than 4,000 sports clubs, with more than 1m bookings being processed every month, and it is considered to be the leading platform for padel globally.

If you haven’t already registered, and wish to book our padel courts, please register free of charge at https://playtomic.io, or on the mobile Playtomic app. There is an option for a paid Premium plan, but this is not necessary.

It’s vital that you register using the same email address that HSTC holds for you so that you can access HSTC member prices.

Key features of the system:

• You have the option to book and pay for the whole court and take payment from your playing partners for their share; or just pay your share of the court, and your playing partners are prompted to pay their share directly
• Cancellations are simple and can be done online up to 24 hours in advance, with speedy refunds
• You can also book a court and leave the booking open on the system for others to join in
• You have the option to input your results after each game, which will give you a playing ranking in the system and help with matching players on open bookings
